PRN Consultants is a nursing agency
operated by nurses for nurses. It was started in
1980 by Patricia Szczypkowski, an R.N. who
recognized the importance of nursing as the
cornerstone of a strong health care team. She
started PRN to help the many overworked nurses she
encountered throughout her career across various
institutions in the Philadelphia area. She also
formed the nursing agency to help the hospitals in
her community continue to provide high quality
patient care, as the needs for nurses in hospitals
are often greater than what their own staff could
fill. This is especially true today in
healthcare, given the nationwide nursing shortage.
Because of Pat's clinical and management expertise;
PRN is uniquely sensitive to the ongoing demands that
nurses encounter in the workplace and that hospitals
encounter in filling their staffing needs with quality
nurses. We have been helping hospitals and long-term
care facilities meet their supplemental staffing needs
for over 25 years in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and
Delaware areas. Today, PRN Consultants continues to be
owned and operated by it's original founder, Patricia
Szczypkowski. |
