Q: |
What is an independent
contractor? |
|
A: |
As
an independent contractor you are
self-employed. This means that you are responsible for
paying and filing all of your own taxes. As an independent contractor, you
are also required to carry your own
malpractice insurance. Facilities
currently require coverage of one to six
million dollars. The best part about
being an independent contractor is that YOU
create your own schedule. You can work as
little or as much as you want depending on
what works best for you and your lifestyle!

Q: |
How do I
apply to work for PRN Consultants? |
|
A: |
There are two options for
the application process:
- The first option is
to complete our
on-line application. The
required forms and testing are completed
right on our website at your
convenience. A secure user name
and password are provided for
application logon at any time so you
complete the process as time permits.
- The second option is
to print out the application from our
Document Library. Mail or Fax
your completed application to us.
Then call us to schedule about an hour
at one of our offices to take a
Medication and Age-specific Competency
Test.
Regardless of which option
you choose, we will also allow time for you
to meet with one of our office
representatives to review your placement
options and to ask additional questions.
